Thank you for your interest in living in the Vision 16 Houses in the University District. We are excited about the possibility of having you join us. Many great things continue to happen in and through these houses and the surrounding community.

The application deadline for 2018/19 was April 10th. Women’s housing will accept late applications, but as of April 10, due to application volume, filling out an application does not guarantee an interview. Please do not pay the application fee until your interview is scheduled. Application Steps

Please read over these steps carefully:

1. Application Form: Fill out the Vision 16 Residency Application Form.

2. Application Fee: Pay the $50* application fee, details below. (*transaction fee applies). (IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR WOMEN’S HOUSING, PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL AN INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULED)

3. Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters of recommendation, details below.

4. Interview: Vision 16 will contact you after receiving your application to set-up an interview time.

Please note that your application will not be reviewed by Vision 16 unless the first three steps are completed above.

Application Fee

To pay the application fee, follow the link below after entering the applicant’s name in the box.

The fee is $50 plus a $1.80 online processing fee. The $50 will be applied to the first rent payment should the applicant be accepted. This fee is non-refundable.

Letters of Recommendation

Have two references each submit a letter of recommendation via this website. To submit, have references visit the letter submission page.

These letters should speak to the applicants character, maturity, responsibility, faith, and commitment. One reference should be a pastor, youth leader, or other spiritual authority figure, and one another adult who preferably holds a position of authority (teacher, employer, community leader).

 

Scholarship Opportunities

University Vision Leadership, an alumni non-profit organization, offers scholarship opportunities that assist with room & board fees incurred through living with Vision 16.  The application for the upcoming school year can be accessed here.
